People using Brisbane airport will be able to ‘drop their bags in 25 seconds’.
Anyone booking flights to Brisbane in the future will be pleasantly surprised when they finish their holiday and return to the airport.
Often there is nothing that deflates the joyous feeling that Australia can bring more than an airport queue, but Brisbane has installed new technology which means that dropping off bags before an outbound flight takes around 25 seconds.
Last year was a record-breaking one in terms of passenger numbers for the airport, as it processed more than 21 million travellers and Roel Hellemons, general manager of strategic planning and development at the site, believes that despite its popularity, queues are unlikely.
“We are committed to using the best technology to improve operations, enhance the passenger experience and to make optimum use of the space we have available,” he said.
It is little wonder that so many people are flying to Brisbane.
The Queensland City is one of Australia’s must vibrant places with international acclaimed arts festivals, top-class sporting action and breathtaking scenery all commonplace.
