Hip-hop performer Snoop Dogg has been granted a visa Down Under and is to play a series of dates at venues around the country.
The Grammy-nominated star – real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr – will begin his Smoked Out tour in Brisbane on October 29th, before moving onto Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
He will be joined by fellow artists Ice Cube and Bones Thugs n Harmony.
Video Hits has called the forthcoming tour “an absolutely essential show for any hip hop fan.”
Snoop is perhaps best known as an MC in the American West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of rap producer Dr Dre’s most notable proteges.
Anyone considering heading out to see Snoop Dogg’s performance will be pleased to know they can book flights to Australia with Quantas.
