Australia is to focus more of its attention on showcasing the impressive Aboriginal culture.
Australia is to focus more of its attention towards promoting the culture of the Aborigines to tourists spending time in the country.
A new website focused on offering information about the most amazing experiences to be had in the outback and where to learn more about the past of the native people living in the country.
The site offers details on experience relating to the arts and culture, festivals and foods of the Aborigines.
Aden Ridgeway, chairman of Tourism Australia’s Indigenous Tourism Advisory Panel, said there is a big demand for experiences related to Aboriginal culture.
“We want to stimulate greater demand for Indigenous experiences in Australia, and the new website will make it easier to include Indigenous experiences as a ‘must do’ component of Australian itineraries,” Mr Ridgeway added.
One of the most recognisable sites in Australia relating to Aboriginal culture is Uluru, also known as Ayres Rock, which is located in the Northern Territory.
