British Admiral Beach

Currie Harbour Lighthouse

Built in 1879, this lighthouse is located at the entrance of Currie Harbour. Guided tours to the lighthouse are available. This is another popular beach among surfers but is even better known for spectacular sunrises. Be here early in the morning and experience the most serene side of King Island. Also, bring your fishing equipment to catch squid, salmon, and other fish species off the boardwalk. You can rent a barbecue grill to cook your fresh catch while admiring the pristine beauty of the beach. Naracoopa Beach is also known for rare sightings of migratory whales.
