Saudia to Start Flights Operations to Toronto and Los Angeles

Saudi Arabian Airlines, operating as Saudia, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, is launching flights services to two North American destinations – Toronto in Canada and Los Angeles in the USA, in order to provide more options to air travellers seeking tickets options to fly between the regions.

“We’ll operate flights to the Canadian city of Toronto in the third quarter of 2013 and Los Angeles in the second quarter of 2014,” said the Director General of the airline.

After receiving four of 20 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft by the end of 2013, the airline is going to deploy these aircrafts on LA flights to travel the USA. The airline hopes that the advanced features of the plane will add to the comfort of air travellers and offer value for the money spent on USA tickets.

The Jeddah-based carrier currently offers tickets for air travel on flights operating to Washington and New York in USA. From April 2013, it will run 14 weekly services to both the destinations using bigger aircrafts.

A gamut of travellers, including scholarship students in Canadian city like Toronto, will be substantially benefitted with the introduced services. Tickets seekers to Canada and USA can take advantage of added options, convenient and seamless connectivity between the regions.

Having a main operational base at Jeddah-KingAbdulazizInternationalAirport, the carrier offers tickets to travel to a good number of international destinations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia.
