Passengers travelling on flights with Delta Airlines may be able to take advantage of some special benefits after the carrier announced that it is reintroducing its bonus system.

For a limited time, people who travel with the airline may be able to pick up bonus miles for round-trip flights, reduced booking fees and other advantages, with Northwest WorldPerks members qualifying for additional benefits.

Josh Weiss, managing director of Delta’s website, said that the reintroduction is the result of increased ticket share.

“We’re bringing back the booking bonus for a limited time as a thank you to our customers for their loyalty,” he added.

Delta customers can also check up-to-date flight times and searing assignments on the company’s website.

The world’s largest airline according to its website, Delta offers services to 368 destinations in 66 countries and carries over 170 million passengers each year.

Flights on the airline are available via Southall Travel.
