Singapore’s low cost airline, Tiger Airways has decided to add Hyderabad to its India network. From 28 September, the airline will offer five times weekly flights to India, connecting Singapore and Hyderabad.

Singapore-based airline Tiger Airways has announced its decision to launch flights to India, connecting with Hyderabad from September 28.

Tiger Airways, a low- cost airline known for offering cheap flight ticket deals, will be operating flights between Hyderabad and Singapore five times a week, said the airline’s release.

The new flight launch to India will be the sixth destination in the country for the airline. Other Indian cities served by the airline are Bangalore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Tiruchirapalli.

“We are excited at the prospect of growing our paw print in the region. India’s popularity as a tourist destination and business centre is growing by leaps and bounds and Tiger is well-placed to offer customers more choices of flights between India and Singapore,” Tiger Airways Singapore MD Stewart Adams was quoted in news reports.

Tiger Airways will be offering attractive promotional fares to celebrate the newest addition to the airline’s network (Hyderabad-Singapore). The airfare is certainly going to please budget travellers who look for inbound and outbound cheap flights to India.

“We recognise that affordable travel is an important consideration for our customers. We are committed to offering great value fares that are backed by friendly service and on-time flights,” Stewart Adams was further quoted.

Flights to Hyderabad airport will depart Singapore at 2230 hrs Tuesday to Sunday. Flights from Hyderabad will take off at 0140 hrs Mondays, Wednesdays and from Friday to Sunday.

The airline release said the bookings will be on until July 13 for travel between September 28 and October 31.
