British Airways plans to boost its flights service to Kenya as it increases Nairobi-London flights from current seven to eight per week. The additional flight will start from May 12 this year and will offer increased opportunities to net travel tickets.
More British Airways Flights to Kenya
Offering more options to those seeking tickets on the Kenya-UK route, British Airways has announced an added flight between Nairobi and London. The flights will start operating from May 12, 2013. This will augment the flight frequency from current seven to eight flights per week.
The flights will depart London at 20:20 on Sunday evenings and land in Kenya at 04:55 the next morning. The return service will take off from Nairobi at 22:45pm on Monday evenings and arrive in the UK at 08:25, the next morning.
The additional operation will lead to 266 additional seats a week, providing those looking for tickets on the route more opportunities. British Airways will be using a Boeing 777-200, in a four-cabin configuration, for the service. Different sorts of travellers will be able to block tickets as seats will be offered for First, Club World (business), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy).
“Kenya is a growing economy and the additional flight has been scheduled as an overnight service so our customers, particularly those travelling on business, can make the most of their time,” said an airline’s senior executive.
BA has also announced that three more flights it introduced to Johannesburg, South Africa on a trial basis will be confirmed in its 2013 schedule. This again brings cheers to fliers who wish for more flight tickets on London-Johannesburg route.
