In order to tackle the gloom of off tourist season, Indian airlines have come up with discounts on international and domestic flights. All top Indian carriers like Jet Airways and Air India are offering discounts.
In order to lure more number of travellers in the off season, Indian airlines have rolled out discounts and concessions not only on domestic flights but also on few international routes.
Jet Airways, Air India, and Spice Jet all are offering discounts on flights. Recently, Jet Airways launched packages for corporate flyers, offering them two night group packages within India for destinations including Goa, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Udaipur.
On the international flight routes, Jet Airways is offering three night’s packages to Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong starting from Rs.32, 737 (GBP 380 approx.). The packages announced are not only going to benefit those looking to travel to these destinations but also those travellers who look for connecting flights to Europe or Americas from popular stopovers such as Dubai.
Air India has decided to reward its frequent flyers who have or are going to take domestic flights between 20 July and 30 September. The state-run carrier will offer free tickets (taxes payable by the passenger) on international flights. The travel classes of these free tickets will depend upon the amount of money spent on flight tickets during the said time period.
Monsoon is not a highly popular season as far as tourism in India is concerned. A good number of domestic and international travellers prefer to avoid the unstable rainy season. However, with cheap flight options doled out bay various carriers in India, people might just want to take a flight to the country’s popular holiday destinations to enjoy themselves within the walls of affordability.
