Comedian Omid Djalili has said that India is the next destination on his holiday hit-list.
Anyone who is considering booking flights to India may be interested to hear that one recognisable face of British comedy is considering doing the same.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Omid Djalili stated that India is the next country he wants to visit for a break.
“It looks like a wonderful place,” he said, “I’m going to try and plan a trip there for next year.”
The actor, who is set to appear on screens later this year in The Infidel, also noted that he always tries to experience some of the local culture when he is on holiday.
When asked about what ingredients he needs for a perfect vacation, Djalili replied: “Camaraderie, sun cream and a good bat and ball”.
The British-Iranian star is best known for his stand-up comedy, as well as roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Notting Hill and Spy Game.
