The airline has launched a ticket booklet that can be used by more than one traveller offering economy class travel on domestic flights in India for a special price.

“Quick Returns” is the name given to the new scheme and the cheap flight prices include all taxes, says Air India.

Routes that are excluded in the offer include flights from Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram, from Delhi to Kochi, Delhi to Kozhikode and flights from Delhi to Coimbatore.

People looking to book flights to India for a holiday can fly from the UK to a variety of destinations.

Air India is the national carrier of the country and has been in service since its first flight to Mumbai in 1932.
