British Airways to Add and Upgrade Flights Services to India

In a bid to provide convenient connections for India travel and to boost its presence in a growing market, British Airways is likely to add flights services for India. Online sources claim that the UK’s flag carrier is going to offer tickets on new flights to Indian cities of Hyderabad and Chennai, this year. Also, the UK-based operator has plans in place to offer new cabins on its wide body plane fleet for the popular UK-India route.

Christopher Fordyce, British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, is of the opinion that new products and additional flights will enable the airline to grow and strengthen its position in India. More flights would mean more tickets options for travellers who look for travel tickets to fly on the sector.

BA will be adding an additional service to Hyderabad and Chennai, totalling to six weekly flights. Moreover, the airline is planning to have brand new cabins on its aircraft. The availability of new seating options will ensure that people who seek tickets on the route have added alternatives at their disposal while booking tickets with British Airways.

Besides, BA will be launching a lounge in Mumbai and will upgrade food and beverage services. India is one of the blossoming markets for British Airways and the carrier hopes to further strengthen its position by offering improved services, wide connections and more tickets options.
