Martin Ferguson, writing for the Trade Travel Gazette, flew business class for the purposes of his research and said that he was certainly not disappointed.

He reported that the inflight entertainment system was “top-notch”, while also recommending the seating, which consisted of a seat that converted into a 160 degree reclining bed.

Meanwhile, the food was a particular highlight for Mr Ferguson, who tried a number of dishes and rated them all highly, especially the seafood.

The carrier also provides all its business class passengers with a convenient travel kit, including pyjamas, a toothbrush and an eye mask.

“From the moment I checked in at Heathrow until the moment I landed, I felt spoiled. I’d definitely fly again,” he concluded.

Qatar Airways recently announced a new initiative designed to reduce its carbon footprint, with passengers prompted to contribute to offsetting each time they make a purchase via the website.
