The airline Emirates has brought in its double-decker A380 to operate flights to Dubaifrom London Heathrow.
Emirates president Tim Clark commented: “We are delighted to bring our customers state-of-the-art comforts which are unmatched anywhere else in the world.”
The plane’s facilities include onboard showers and a central lounge, as well as intelligent seating in business class which converts into a bed and has individual aisle access.
Emirates currently flies to over 100 destinations in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Africa, Indian subcontinent and Asia-Pacific
Last month, the Dubai-based carrier announced that it had successfully completed its move to the new terminal in Dubai International Airport, which is dedicated to Emirates flights and will increase the airport’s capacity by another 20 million passengers, the Associated Press reported.
