The competition is due to run from August 2nd to 28th.
Cricket fans could be tempted to book cheap flights to Dubai for next month as the emirate prepares to host the Interface Ramadan Cup tournament.
The competition, which is set to run from August 2nd to 28th, will feature 12 teams divided into three groups taking the field against each other on a knockout basis.
Each side will bat for 25 overs per innings, with the tournament set to include 23 games.
Among the teams confirmed as participating in the Interface Ramadan Cup are the Yogi Group, Emirates Islamic Bank, HSBC and Seven Seas Strikers.
Mohamed Lokhandwala, honorary secretary of tournament organiser the Dubai Cricket Council, said: “We hope to see some tough and exciting cricket with most teams evenly matched.”
Matches are scheduled to get underway at 19:30 local time and run until 23:30.
Games will take place at Dubai’s International Cricket Council Global Cricket Academy grounds, which also recently staged the Debonairs Pizza Floodlit Tournament.
