Dubai Mall has been named as the city’s best shopping experience by Grazia Middle East.
Those who love to shop until they drop on their holiday may find Dubai to be a destination worth considering – particularly as one of its shopping centres was presented with an award this week.
Fashion magazine Grazia Middle East hosted its annual style awards on Wednesday (April 28th), which saw Dubai Mall named as the best shopping experience in the city.
In second place was the Mall of the Emirates, while C’est Moi took the gong for best regional designer.
Those who plan to get away from the big megamalls on their holiday to Dubai may also wish to explore the city’s traditional souks.
Dubai is known as the City of Gold – it is the world’s fastest-growing gold centre, according to the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group – and its famed Gold Souk features more than 300 retailers.
The traditional market is located in the Deira commercial business district and attracts visitors from all over the world.
