Disney Camp Rock The Musical comes to Dubai

Dubai will welcome Disney Camp Rock The Musical this month.

Travellers who have taken advantage of cheap flights to Dubai can see a stage production of Disney’s Camp Rock from Monday (July 11th).

Based on the Disney Channel film of the same name, the musical will be performed several times until July 16th.

It’s On, We Rock, This Is Me and Can’t Back Down are among the hits that people will recognise if they have seen the original movie.

The production will see the Camp Rock stars pulling out their best moves to save the centre from being closed down, after a new camp opens across the lake.

“This high-energy, dance-filled spectacular is live on stage for ten performances only. Featuring pulsating choreography, rocking music and that special Disney magic,” remarked the organisers.

As well as launching the careers of pop stars the Jonas Brothers, the original film also pushed young actress Demi Lovato into the spotlight. The sequel was released in 2010.
