Wildlife lovers are advised to head to Abu Dhabi for safari drives and coastal dives.
Visitors to Abu Dhabi can look forward to various types of wildlife, both on safari in the desert and by the sea, the local tourist board has said.
The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has highlighted various popular resorts, including Desert Islands Resort and Spa by Anantara, which is situated just off the shore of Abu Dhabi.
Lawrence Franklin, strategy and policy director at the ADTA, added that popular activities in the region for Brits arriving on flights to Abu Dhabi include wildlife drives, mountain biking and snorkelling around the newly formed reef.
“The park is a popular place for people to visit and learn about arid land wildlife and conservation in Abu Dhabi,” he said.
Mr Franklin also recommended a visit to Al Jahili Fort, the birthplace of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi.
