Hong Kong based carrier, Dragonair has announced the launch of new flights to India connecting Kolkata from 2nd November. This will be the airline’s second connection to India after its daily service to Bengaluru from Hong Kong.
Flyers seeking flights to India from Hong Kong will soon be able to enjoy more options. The second largest airline in Hong Kong, Dragonair has announced the launch of new flights to India connecting Kolkata. It will be a four-times-weekly service to India’s eastern city.
Dragonair has decided to deploy Airbus A320 aircraft to operate this flight service which will start from 2nd November.
Dragonair, a sister airline of Cathay Pacific, is an affiliate member of the oneworld alliance and offers flights to over 36 destinations in 13 countries and territories across Asia.
Dragonair’s press release states that new flight services have been proposed to offer better alternatives and enhanced convenience to the passengers taking flights to travel between Hong Kong and Eastern India.
Adding to the present daily flight service between Hong Kong and Bengaluru, Kolkata is Dragonair’s second passenger destination in India. Travellers can fly through the Hong Kong hub to and from Dragonair’s Mainland China network as well as destinations in North America and Australia from India.
As per the new flight schedule, Flight KA168 will depart Hong Kong International Airport at 2050 hours and will arrive at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 2315 hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Flight KA169 will depart Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 0010 hours and will arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 0600 hours on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Dragonair is increasing its flight services to some popular travel routes to serve the ever rising passenger influx. Kolkata will be the eighth destination imbedded into the airline’s network this year.
