Carrier Continental Airlines reveals new, wider, business class beds

Continental Airlines has announced it is to roll out new beds in business class on its non-stop flights between Hong King and New York. The new BusinessFirst seats give flyers the chance to lie down completely flat and give a total sleeping area of two metres, said Continental.

This size makes the new beds one of the widest available in business class and seats also come well-equipped with places to plug in laptops, iPods and USBs.

Each passenger in business class will also be able to lie back and relax with a movie or two on their own personal screen. Movies are on demand, so whatever a flyers taste, there will be something to suit.

Business flyers with Continental Airlines taking the trip between New York and Hong Kong can also take advantage of a generous three piece baggage allowance as well as limousine transfer from the airport.

The flight takes about 15 hours overall and is one of the world’s longest non-stop air journeys.
