Dubai-based Emirates will soon offer non-stop flights to Bali, Indonesia. The airline will operate the new flight service with a Boeing 777, featuring two-class configuration.
Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, have announced that it will launch a new daily flight to Bali, Indonesia from 3rd June 2015. The non-stop flight service between Dubai and Bali will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which will have a two-class configuration.
Bali is a hugely popular island destination in Indonesia. The province is known for its picturesque beauty and rich culture. In 2014, Bali welcomed more than 3.7 million foreign tourists. The new flight service, to be initiated by Emirates, is sure to add to Bali’s global connectivity, contributing to the region’s growth as a tourism hub.
“Bali is a significantly important market for Emirates. There is high interest in Bali from across our network, specifically in the leisure segment. We are pleased to be able to offer the Emirates product on a daily basis, connecting passengers in Bali to Dubai and to more than 80 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, via one convenient stop in Dubai,” Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates, was quoted in a press release.
“The new service will greatly increase convenience, choice, and consistency of travel experience for consumers who currently have to travel via multiple stops, or via other points in Indonesia to reach Bali.”
The Gulf carrier’s new daily flight (EK398) to Bali will leave Dubai at 0820hrs (Local Time) and will land at Bali’s Denpasar International Airport at 2140hrs (LT). The return flight, EK399, will take off from Bali at 2340hrs (LT) and arrive in Dubai at 0500 (LT), the next day.
The new flight service will be Emirates’ 148th global connection.
