Travellers heading to Perth from within Australia can now fly business class with Virgin.
Holidaymakers who take flights to Perth from other cities in Australia will now be able to fly business class with Virgin.
The carrier has announced that it has introduced the service for people who are making the trip from east coast locations, such as Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Commencing on September 28th 2011, the new travel class will be available on Boeing 737 flights and complements the existing travel options which are already in place for the Airbus A330 service from Sydney to Perth.
Virgin Australia group executive for commercial Liz Savage said: “Our Business Class cabin with the new Boeing Sky Interior sets Virgin Australia apart in cabin style and comfort with luxurious leather seating with 38-inch seat pitch and gourmet Luke Mangan designed meals.”
Those who take flights to Perth with Qantas can also benefit from some changes to the airline, after a new frequent flyer points system was introduced.
