People heading away to south-east Australia may be pleased to hear that spring-like weather has already arrived.

People taking flights to Australia may be pleased to hear that warmer weather is already being felt in the south-east of the country.

Although the nation is still in its winter, it has been reported by Weatherzone that it is starting to see some signs of spring coming through much earlier than normal, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Locations such as Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide are all experiencing warm weather, with Alex Zadnik, chief meteorologist of the organisation, stating that it is likely that this August will be one of the warmest on record.

At present, Melbourne is seeing average temperatures of 19.6 degrees, which is 1.8 degrees warmer than usual and the highest monthly recording for August in 150 years.

The news could please those taking flights to Australia in order to attend Fashion Festival Sydney, with many of the events taking place into the evening at bars and restaurants around the city.
