Qatar Airways is offering a range of deals on its new routes out of Australia.
Qatar Airways has launched a number of deals on some of its newest routes out of Australia.
The carrier will be offering early-bird fares on a number of flights out of Melbourne to destinations including London, Cairo and Madrid.
These cheap flights to Cairo and other destinations are part of the airline’s marketing strategy to promote its new routes.
Low fares are available from November 1st until December 20th, with the first flight leaving Melbourne on December 6th.
All planes operated by Qatar Airways will pass through its hub in Doha. When the new route begins, it will be the fastest connection between Melbourne and London, with the journey taking 21 hours.
An ambitious expansion plan is currently underway at the Middle Eastern airline that will see it grow its fleet from 69 to more than 110 aircraft by 2013 and increase the number of destinations it serves from 82 to over 120 within the next five years.
The carrier has grown significantly over the past decade, experiencing average year-on-year growth of 35 per cent since 1999.
