Holidaymakers could get great deals on flights to Australia with Qantas in marketing campaign.

Tourism NT (Northern Territory) has launched an exclusive global partnership with Qantas that will offer consumers cheap flights to Australia as part of an international marketing campaign.

Qantas will offer flights from the UK, Germany and the US in a bid to attract more tourists to the Red Centre in the Northern Territory.

Maree Tetlow, chief executive of Tourism NT, said: “In the current consumer environment, travellers will not make a holiday decision without a competitive airfare, which makes this partnership so important.”

The Red Centre, which boasts the Uluru-Kata Tjuta national park, will also be promoted through the Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
It is estimated that this global marketing campaign will be seen by over 53 million consumers from all over the world.

A downloadable guide is also being created specifically for the UK market, offering hints and tips to travellers planning to visit the Red Centre as part of a gap year trip.
