A Gold Coast hotel has been voted as the best in Australia by users of the world’s largest travel site.
The world’s largest travel website has named the Australian hotel of Peppers Broadbeach as the best in the country.
TripAdvisor weighed up reviews of over 4,000 other properties Down Under before giving its top recommendation for Brits catching flights to Australia.
The Gold Coast resort was praised for its “outstanding rooms”, while one reviewer was particularly enthused to see that there were no Pringles in the mini bar.
Dining options include a teppanyaki barbecue for Japanese-inspired dining, while guests can enjoy free in-room movies and an iPad in each room.
The resort, which is situated just a one-hour drive south of Brisbane, also boasts panoramic coastal views and great watersports opportunities at the nearby Surf Parade beach.
Guests can also pick from the hotel’s three swimming pools or choose to unwind in the steam room and sauna.
Prices at Peppers Broadbeach start at 265 Australian dollars (£173) per room per night, including free parking.
