Anyone who has booked flights to Sydney should make sure that they visit the city’s zoo.
There are a wide range of different attractions waiting for visitors at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, according to the owners.
People touching down on flights to Sydney should allow time to visit the wildlife park and watch its animals, which include both native species and other animals from around the world.
One of the highlights for anyone on holidays to Sydney could be seeing the latest addition to the elephant heard – Luk Chai. The male pachyderm was born in July last year and is said to be developing well.
The newest exhibit to open at the zoo is the Great Southern Oceans enclosure, which gives tourists an opportunity to see some of the creatures that can be found along Australia’s coastline.
Visitors can watch leopard seals, Australian sea-lions, penguins and pelicans from a specially-designed viewing area that will allow them to see the action both above and below the water.
The leopard seals – which are native to Antarctica – were rescued off the Australian coast and are now being cared for by the zoo.
