Travellers flying to Australia in June may wish to take advantage of 372 new low-cost beds set to open in Brisbane.
According to Youth Hostel Australia (YHA), the beds are part of a “state-of-the-art” redevelopment project that will offer worldwide travellers a real “Australia experience”.
Facilities at the hotels are themed around iconic experiences that visitors will come across on a holiday to Australia such as the reef and beach, rainforest, outback and the city.
“This hostel has been designed to enhance the guest experience and provide them with a real taste of Australia to encourage further travel throughout Queensland and the rest of the continent,” said chief executive officer for YHA Queensland Ralph Kajet.
Mr Kajet went on to say he thought people flying to Australia would appreciate the attention to detail that has gone into the new accommodation.
According to OurBrisbane.com Mt Coot-tha Lookout is a must-see destination for panoramic views over the city. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is also a recommended attraction.
