Emirates is introducing a new aircraft on their flights to Perth to provide more comfort to passengers.The addition of a Boeing 777-200LR will provide private suites for those travelling in first class, while business class ticket holders will be able to enjoy flat beds during the flight.

Economy passengers will benefit from a large seating area and enhanced entertainment options.

Western Australian sales manager at Emirates Darren Tyrrell said: “The new aircraft signifies the airline’s dedication to providing passengers with the highest quality service and travel experience, and its commitment to the Western Australian market.”

Emirates flies twice daily to Perth from Dubai and also operates a number of services from London Gatwick and Glasgow.

The airline first starting using the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft in 2007 and it holds the record for the longest distance travelled non-stop by airliner after flying 21,601km from Hong Kong to London – the long way round.
