Hotel group Best Western has opened a new property in the coastal town of Albany, in Australia

Hotel group Best Western has added a new property in Western Australia to its portfolio.The Best Western Albany Motel and Apartments is located near to the centre of the coastal town and is designed to appeal to all sorts of people taking flights to Australia, from families and couples to those in town for business.

Albany’s main attractions – including the Brig Amity Replica and the Old Goal Museum – are within walking distance of the hotel and visitors can choose from normal units, deluxe apartments, family rooms, self catering flats and the King Spa suite.

Chief executive officer for Best Western Australasia Rob Anderson said: “Albany is a thriving community, and the new property will further support increased trade and tourism to the area. We’re excited to bring this property into the Best Western fold.”

Other areas well worth visiting on a trip to Albany include the Stirling Ranges and the Mount Barker wine region, as well as the nearby town of Denmark.
