The touring event will take place in four areas of the city this month.
Sports fans who jet off on cheap flights to Auckland later this month can get a taste of the Rugby World Cup before the competition kicks off by attending a new roadshow.
The touring event will be held at locations around the city from July 24th to 31st, giving visitors the opportunity to sample the pre-tournament excitement and have their picture taken with the famous Webb Ellis Cup.
Roadshows will be held in the suburbs of Albany, Otara and Orewa, before heading to Viaduct Harbour in central Auckland on the final day.
A diverse array of entertainment will be on the bill at the central business district event, including performances from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and a Cook Island dance group.
The event is free and is scheduled to run from 10:00 to 14:00 local time.
Auckland will be the hub of the Rugby World Cup, with 15 of the tournament’s 48 matches taking place at the city’s two venues – Eden Park and North Harbour Stadium.
