Air India is offering vouchers in time for the wedding season in the country.

People on flights to India who are attending a wedding could find that a new range of vouchers from Air India could provide the prefect gifts.

The carrier has announced it is launching and innovate campaign which doubles up as a gift voucher which can be used during the current wedding season.

Its new offer has been termed the Shagun Vouchers and will be issued in five different price ranges, with each having a built-in discount.

Each has a face value which will be stated on the voucher and a sale value, that will represent the amount taken from the purchaser.

They are valid for a year from the date of purchase and to buy them the purchaser needs to present a wedding invitation, with the event to take place within a month of the purchase.

People who took flights to India last month may have already attended a wedding, as many couples tied the knot on November 21st as it was marked as an auspicious date.
