Some of the best dancers from the English National Ballet are set to appear on stage in South Africa.

A number of the best dancers from the English National Ballet (ENB) are set to appear in Cape Town next month to perform Giselle.

The Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB) will be hosting the show at the Artscape Opera House, with the musical score to be provided by the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra.

A limited run of ten performances will be held, with the first taking place on April 13th.

Dance partners and principles from the ENB Daria Klimentova and Vadim Muntagirov will be taking to the stage to perform in just three of the evening shows on April 14th, 18th and 21st.

Tickets for the performances are priced from 100 South African rand (£8.40).

The version of the ballet to be performed was created in 1971 by David Poole and has been danced seven times since 1997 by the CTCB.

A wide range of productions are hosted by the Artscape venue each year, with a production of La Boheme and an Abba tribute act both scheduled to perform there in the coming months.
