Brits holidaying in Mumbai have a greater choice of flights on offer from Jet Airways to Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
Travellers taking a holiday in India this summer have a wider choice of flights from Mumbai to choose from, Jet Airways has announced.
A new service has been launched by the Indian airline, flying from Mumbai to the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Flights from Mumbai to Riyadh will be running four times a week in addition to a Mumbai flight to Jeddah.
“Saudi Arabia is a very important market for Jet Airways on account of the large volume of traffic to the Gulf kingdom, to and from India,” explained Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer of the carrier.
A new flight to Hyderabad in India from Mumbai will also be added to the schedule by Jet Airways as well as a flight from Mumbai to Bangkok, which will begin on August 16th.
Those taking a holiday in Mumbai may wish to visit the “archaic bazaars”, Chowpatty Beach and the Shiva sculpture at Elephanta Island, Lonely Planet recommended.
