India’s leading airline has been ranked as a key brand in a recent survey.
The carrier was also ranked as 28th out of 50 brands within the service industry – coming ahead of some of the country’s leading financial institutions and food companies, including the State Bank of India and Pizza Hut.
A total of 8,160 consumers were involved in the survey that is produced in collaboration with the Nielsen Company market research firm. The results are then used to assess the general opinion towards some of the region’s leading service providers.
Air India has been operating since 1932 and now services 52 worldwide destinations including the US and UK. The carrier also offers a total of 63 domestic routes.
The airline recently confirmed plans to move its international operations to Delhi’s new terminal 3 in order to improve passenger services.
