Dubai prepares to host Eid events

People visiting Dubai could take in some local festivities with the forthcoming Eid events.

People taking cheap flights to Dubai soon could have the chance to enjoy some local cultural activities in its forthcoming Eid events.

The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) has announced it is to host a series of occasions to mark Eid Al Fitr.

This year, the programme is set to include everything from fireworks displays to cultural activities and performances by Arabic singers.

Children can also enjoy special events at Modhesh World, with Arabs Got Talent finalist Hala Al Turk set to perform.

“Eid in Dubai is a social occasion which unites different nationalities from across Dubai in celebration of this one joyous occasion,” said Ebrahim Saleh, festivals coordinator, general and deputy chief executive officer of DEPE.

People with an interest in interiors could be booking cheap flights to Dubai for later in the year, as it is to host the 21st edition of the Index design show, with more than 800 exhibitors set to attend.
