US hip hop star Busta Rhymes is due to play in Dubai next week.

Rap music fans planning on catching flights to Dubai later this month may be excited to learn that US hip hop legend Busta Rhymes will be performing in the UAE city on May 20th.

The 38-year-old will be performing at Chi Garden next week, and music fans can look forward to hearing tracks such as What’s It Gonna Be, Break Ya Neck and Gimmie Some More.

Busta, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Junior, was given his nickname by Chuck D of Public Enemy who once compared him to the famous NFL player George ‘Buster’ Rhymes.

Since breaking onto the scene in 1996 with his platinum-selling debut album The Coming, Busta’s career has included movie roles and Grammy Award nominations.

The warm up act at the Dubai gig will be local rapper Danny Neville. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at 175 dirhams (£29).
