A hotel is Sydney has been given the title of best hotel for service in Australasia and South Pacific.

Travellers on flights to Sydney who are planning to stay in the Four Seasons Hotel could be pleased to hear the hotel has been awarded for its service.

The hotel was named as the best of service in Australasia and South Pacific in the Conde Nast Traveller UK 2012 Gold List.

A selection of the magazine’s editors and travel experts selected the accommodation as being the worthy winner of the prestigious award.

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney general manager Vincent Hoogewijs said: “This award is a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication of our employees and their ability to consistently deliver service excellence.”

The hotel is also noted for its fantastic location, being situated in Circular Quay, a short walk from iconic sights such as the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the historic Rocks.

Some people taking flights to Sydney could soon be able to access the internet on their trip, as Qantas has announced it is to trial Wi-Fi services on some of its journeys.
