According to the Nation Travel, while the area is nice to visit at any time of the year, it will be particularly pleasant in April.
This is because it is before the official tourist season starts, so it will not be too crowded – but it will still be hot.
“A high point is the availability of hotel rooms, which means you don’t have to book too far in advance,” the website points out.
Places suggested as good to visit include the Anjuna Flea market at Anjuna Beach, the markets in Chaudi and Mapusa and the beaches at Palolem and Arambol.
Earlier this month, India – and Goa in particular – was recommended by Merinews as a particularly good place to have a honeymoon thanks to its lush vegetation, beautiful scenery, relaxed atmosphere and picturesque palm trees.
