Economical brand ‘Formule1’ Opened in Ahmedabad, India
Offering an apt accommodation option to budget and mid-range travellers booking flights tickets deals for Gujarat, India, Accor has launched its low-cost brand ‘Formule1’ in Ahmedabad, coastal state’s prominent business hub. Earlier in the year, the global chain opened a property in Greater Noida, a commercial hub on the outskirts of India’s capital,Delhi.
Formule1 is a budget brand that is aimed at the sorts who look for cheap tickets deals on India flights. Another one is set to come up in Pune, next month.
Accor is a European hotel operator that owns brands like Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, ibis, and Formule 1, ranging from budget to luxury.

With great potential in the city, Formule1 Ahmedabad will appeal to the customers with its added benefits, making it the perfect choice for them at a highly competitive price of around Rs. 2000 per person,” Philip Logan, Vice President Formule1 Hotels, India, was quoted in several Indian media reports.
The firm has 19 hotels with 3780 rooms and two convention centres in India and serves all sorts of tourists and business travellers booking tickets deals on flights to the Asian country.
The 132-room property in Ahmedabad will feature two cafes for guests who seek a shelter here after taking flights tickets for visiting Gujarat. The location of the property is billed as the “best alternate location apart from the CBD” and allows the Accor group to offer competitive tariff to international tourists picking up tickets deals on India bound flights and opting to stay here.
