Delhi Metro’s Airport Express Line has restarted check-in facility for passengers booking tickets on domestic flights to destinations within India and on international services to Gulf countries.

International travellers booking tickets on flights to fly out from Delhi, India’s capital city, have a reason to wear smiles on their face. Sources further reveal that the services will remain available from 6 am to 8 pm and passengers booking tickets on flights to destinations within India or to Gulf countries from Indian capital may check-in at least two-and-a-half-hours before their scheduled departure time.

State-run carrier, Air India and India’s largest airline, Jet Airways have already started offering this service to passengers at the New Delhi Metro Station of the Airport Express Line. In addition, the authorities are also discussing the option of setting up check-in counters with other global airlines to offer tickets for flights on international routes from the capital city.

With the facility now open, both domestic and foreign visitors who book tickets on flights to travel out of the city may opt to collect their boarding passes maximum eight hours prior to their departure time.

The Airport Express Line also offers facilities like as cloak room, trolley and porter service, radio cab service and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The service is sure to please the budget conscious visitors who choose train travel for cheap holidays within India and are taking flights from the capital city for their international departure back home. These passengers may now hand over their luggage at the New Delhi Metro station of the Airport Express Line and utilise the time to explore the prominent city attractions.
