Etihad Airways is all set to offer tickets on increased number of services between Abu Dhabi and Colombo. The airline will now increase its frequency from seven flights per week to a double daily schedule from February16th, 2014.

etihad-airways-to-increase-its-flight-frequency-to-sri-lankaInternational flyers who are often to be seen scrambling for tickets on flights between UAE’s sizzling emirate of Abu Dhabi and Sri Lanka’s thriving capital city of Colombo will very soon have more tickets options made available to them by premium Gulf carrier, Etihad Airways.

UAE’s national airline, Etihad Airways will increase its Abu Dhabi-Colombo service from seven flights per week to a double daily schedule from February16th, 2014.

The popular full services airline is expected to deploy an A320 aircraft on Abu Dhabi – Colombo route. The airline will offer tickets for 16 Pearl Business Class seats and 120 Coral Economy Class seats aboard its flights on the route. With the additional flights, the carrier will now offer tickets for 1,900 seats per week on the Abu Dhabi-Colombo route.

Industry insiders believe that the new flights will offer a significant increase in the number of connections to key destinations in the UK, Europe, Africa and the GCC via the carrier’s hub in Abu Dhabi.

The new service will strengthen Etihad’s partnership with Sri Lankan Airlines with both carriers collaborating to offer three daily services on the route with convenient schedules for guests.

Based at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Etihad Airways offers flights tickets to destinations within UAE and Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America, Canada and Australia.
