Etihad Airways is all set to increase its daily flight capacity between Abu Dhabi and Melbourne. The airline will now introduce a new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to offer more tickets on daily flights between UAE and Melbourne from Dec 1, 2013.

Etihad Increases Capacity for Melbourne-Abu Dhabi Flight

International flyers who are often to be seen scrambling for tickets on flights between UAE’s sizzling emirate of Abu Dhabi and Australia’s thriving city of Melbourne will very soon have more tickets options made available to them by premium Gulf carrier, Etihad Airways.

Etihad Airways has announced to increase the capacity of daily services on Abu Dhabi-Melbourne route. UAE’s national carrier, Etihad Airways’ has announced to deploy new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to offer more tickets on daily flights between UAE and Melbourne from Dec 1, 2013, revealed online sources.

Carrier’s new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will feature three-class configuration and the airline will now offer flights tickets for 328 seats aboard the aircraft on the route. The new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will replace the current Airbus A340 aircraft.

Airline’s Boeing 777-300ER with a three-class configuration will have 8, 40 and 280 seats in Diamond First class, Pearl Business class and Coral Economy class respectively.

Etihad also plans to boost the capacity on UAE-Melbourne route by increasing the number of Boeing 777 aircrafts from current 13 to 18 this year.

With its increased flights capacity on the route, the airline endeavours to tap the increasing travel demand between the two cities. The increased number of economy class seats on the route will surely relieve the budget vacationers who seek cheap flights tickets to traverse the popular route.

Based at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Etihad Airways offers flights tickets to destinations within UAE and Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America, Canada and Australia.
