Prince William and friends could be taking flights to South Africa for his stag party, according to media reports.

According to Daily Mail, one of the prince’s closest friends is considering Cape Town for the stags around a month before the royal wedding in April.

It is thought that one reason behind Guy Pelly’s decision to opt for South Africa is due to his girlfriend’s new venture in the city – a burlesque club.

An unnamed source told the newspaper: “Both William and Harry love Africa. Of course, everything has to be kept quiet because of security. But there is talk that if it goes ahead, it will be in late March, about a month before the wedding.”

Meanwhile, Cape Town Chamber of Commerce president Michael Bagraim said the country would endorse any such trip by the prince and added that Cape Town offers tourists an “ideal, safe, secure and reasonably priced” experience.

The royal wedding is set to take place at Westminster Abbey on April 29th.
