Travellers in Cape Town have a huge number of performances to enjoy in the summer months.
People taking flights to Cape Town have been informed of the fantastic line-up for the city’s ballet during the summer months.
The Cape Town City Ballet will present Coppelia across the festive season at the Artscape Theatre.
Beginning on December 16th, the ballet about a life-size doll which comes to life, will run until Christmas Eve.
The show will be followed on New Year’s Eve by The Italian Affair, which will continue until January 8th 2012.
For those with young children who will be in the city in Christmas Eve, they are invited to attend the fairy parade at 11:00 local time, where they can dress up as their favourite fairytale character and appear on the stage, before getting a gift from Santa.
Visitors who will be taking flights to Cape Town later in the new year will have the chance to attend the city’s popular Jazz Festival, which takes place on March 31st.
