Camps Bay Beach in Cape Town has been named as one of the best urban beaches in the world.
The website stated that the natural attraction is “truly a city’s jewel”, noting that it boasts “azure waters, white sands and stunning views of Lion’s Head and the Twelve Apostles”.
People visiting the beach will find that they can easily swim if they want to, while the northern end of the bay is ideal for surfing.
Camps Bay Tourism suggests a number of walking routes that holidaymakers can take around the beach.
These include climbing up Lions Head and following the Pipe Track, which runs along the top of Camps Bay, tracing the route of an old water pipe.
