A new National Geographic show will explore what is in store for the Taj Mahal.
A new television show will showcase the fragile beauty of one of India’s most iconic sites – the Taj Mahal.
The programme will be the first in a new series called Access 360 World Heritage and will be aired on the National Geographic channel on October 20th.
People have been visiting the Taj since it was first built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan more than 350 years ago, but new theories suggest that the monument to love could be in danger of impending collapse.
The show will pitch these ideas against those of the conservators who have said the structure is in no danger.
Actor Dia Mirza will take viewers on a great virtual tour of the Taj, but there is little a television screen can do to pay homage to the majesty of its design and construction.
The only way to experience the serenity and calm that the Taj Mahal brings is to book fights to India and see the ancient building firsthand.
