People booking holidays to India may be pleased to know about a new hotel that has opened in Bangalore.
Anyone planning holidays to Bangalore will now be able to stay at a Premier Inn.
The British budget hotel chain opened its first location in the Indian city this week and announced plans to build a further nine hotels across the country over the coming five years.
Patrick Dempsey, managing director of Premier Inn UK, said: “India represents one of the fastest-growing economies in the world today and we are confident that Premier Inn will be successful in India.”
The firm’s first hotel in the country offers 105 rooms, a restaurant serving a range of cuisines, a bar, a gym and a conference suite.
Other locations set to see a Premier Inn opening in the next two years include Delhi and Pune.
Bangalore, also known as the garden city, is renowned for its parks, gardens and tree-lined streets.
As India’s fifth largest city, it has plenty to offer tourists visiting the region, from museums to palaces and art galleries to temples.
