Starting on March 25th, the airline will increase the number of flights per week from its current level of four to seven to meet the growing demand from travellers.
“This latest increase in our Indian service is indicative of the huge confidence we have in this important market,” explained Neerja Bhatia, Etihad Airways’ country manager in India.
Currently, Etihad Airways makes use of a twin-class Airbus A-320 to make the flights to Bangalore. The craft currently carries a total of 136 passengers -16 in business class and 120 in economy class.
The airline has a fleet of 57 aircraft, which are used to offer around 1,000 flights per week to 66 different destinations worldwide.
