People are searching for the ghosts of Delhi’s past on a new tour.

Delhi is one of the liveliest cities in the world and it seems that even the dead are keen to be a part of the action.

People visiting the Indian city can now book themselves on the ghost trip around the ruins of Jami Kamali in the south of the metropolis.

The Creatures of the Night tour also stops at Nicholson Cemetery and is organised by the Indian Paranormal Society.

Gaurav Tiwari, founder of the Society, said the cemetery was chosen as it is believed the headless apparition of John Nicholson, a British officer killed in the 1857 uprising, still haunts the site.

“We communicated with the spirits through K-2 meters, an electronic device. If there is a paranormal activity the light comes on,” he added.

Due to the success of the tour, plans to expand it to include sites in Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata are already underway.
